Local elections will be held in Pasay on May 9, 2022 within the Philippine general election. The voters elected for the elective local posts in the city: the mayor, vice mayor, the congressman, and the councilors, six of them in the two districts of the city.
Incumbent Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano is running for her second term.[1] Her running mate is Ding Del Rosario, the daughter of Vice Mayor Boyet Del Rosario.
Former First District Councilor and defeated 2019 vice mayoral candidate Richard Advincula is also running. His running mate is Former City Administrator Ernestina Carbajal.[2]
Former Manila Chief Prosecutor Edward Togonon will run for mayoralty for the second time. His running mate is Hector Bongat, who previously ran as councilor of Second District.
Incumbent Congressman Antonino Calixto will run for a second term. Efren Alas will run again as congressman. Ramon Yabut, who ran last election as councilor, will seek seat in the city's lone district. Jocelyn Sato will run for the first time.
Incumbent Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano will run for second term. She will face former Second District Councilor Richard Advincula, retired Chief Prosecutor Edward Togonon, and independent candidate Atilla "AJ" Romero.
Incumbent Vice Mayor Noel "Boyet" Del Rosario will run for re-election. Later, he withdrew his candidacy, making his daughter Waldetrudes "Ding" Del Rosario, his substitute, to run in his place. Del Rosario will face former City Administrator Ernestina "Tina" Bernabe-Carbajal, Hector Bongat, and independent candidate Jesus "Jessie" Cruz.

Former Councilor Alberto "Abet" Alvina supposed to run independently but later withdrew. His son, incumbent Councilor Abraham Albert "Ambet" Alvina will run too. Chairman Ronjay Advincula will run for second time, along with her niece Justine Jane "Jhaz" Advincula, daughter of mayoral candidate Richard Advincula. Chairman Richard Anderson will seek council race too. Some of the candidates previously ran in last election, are seeking council race for the second time.
Incumbent Councilors Arnel Regino "Moti" Arceo, Allan Panaligan, and Aileen Padua-La Torre is term-limited. Running in their place are Angelo Nicol "Allo' Arceo, son of incumbent Councilor Arceo, Jennifer Panaligan, wife of incumbent Councilor Panaligan, and Zengelbert "Zengel" La Torre, husband of incumbent Councilor Padua-La Torre. Former Councilor Noel "Onie" Bayona will run again, but this time without a ticket/ group. Some of the candidates who previously ran and lost in the last polls are competing in the council race for the second time.
