Aš matau tavo balsą (English: I Can See Your Voice)[1] is a Lithuanian television mystery music game show that premiered on LNK on 13 March 2022.[2] It is an adaptation of the South Korean programme of the same name.

Gameplay[]

Format[]

Presented with a group of six "mystery singers" identified only by their occupation, a guest artist and contestant must attempt to eliminate bad singers from the group without ever hearing them sing, assisted by clues and a celebrity panel over the course of four rounds. At the end of the game, the last remaining mystery singer is revealed as either good or bad by means of a duet between them and one of the guest artists.[1][3]

Rewards[]

The contestant must eliminate one mystery singer at the end of each round, receiving €1.000 if they eliminate a bad singer. At the end of the game, the contestant may either end the game and keep the money they had won in previous rounds, or risk it if they believe that the last remaining mystery singer is a good singer. If the singer is good, the contestant wins €10.000; if the singer is bad, the contestant loses all of their winnings and is given to the bad singer instead.

Rounds[]

Each episode presents the guest artist and contestant six people whose identities and singing voices are kept concealed until they are eliminated to perform on the "stage of truth" or join in the final performance.

  1. First impression (Lithuanian: Pirmas įspūdis)
    The guest artist and contestant are given some time to observe and examine each mystery singer based on their appearance.
  2. Phonogram (Lithuanian: Fonograma)
    Each mystery singer performs a lip sync to a song. Good singers mime to a recording of their own performance, while bad singers mime to a recording of someone's else.
  3. Phone hacking (Lithuanian: Nulaužtas telefonas)
    The guest artist and contestant are presented with a video clue package in which one of the mystery singers discusses their life and musical qualifications. Good singers are telling the truth, while bad singers are allowed to lie to deceive them.
  4. Cross-examination (Lithuanian: Kryžminė apklausa)
    The guest artist and contestant can converse and ask questions of one of the remaining mystery singers. As before, good singers must answer truthfully, while bad singers may lie.

Background and development[]

 [lt] first announced the development of the series through CJ ENM and Fremantle's joint agreement in November 2020.[4][5] Produced by Elitaz and Kaunas Television Services, the staff team is managed by producer Gediminas Jaunius and director Jurgis Jefremovas.

Filming[]

Filmings for the series took place at Avia Solutions Group Arena in Vilnius. Also, tapings have been implemented health and safety protocols due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
