The second season of the American television mystery music game show I Can See Your Voice premiered on Fox on January 5, 2022,[1] following a holiday special that aired on December 14, 2021.[2]

Gameplay[]

Format[]

Under the original format, the contestant can eliminate one or two mystery singers after each round. The game concludes with the last mystery singer standing that depends on outcome of a duet performance with a guest artist.[3]

Rewards[]

The contestant must eliminate one mystery singer at the end of each of first five rounds, receiving $15,000 if they eliminate a bad singer. At the end of the game, the contestant may either end the game and keep the money they had won in previous rounds, or risk it if they believe that the last remaining mystery singer is a good singer. If the singer is good, the contestant wins $100,000; if the singer is bad, the contestant loses all of their winnings.[4]

Rounds[]

Each episode presents the guest artist and contestants six people whose identities and singing voices are kept concealed until they are eliminated to perform on the "stage of truth" or join in the final performance.

  1. Lip Sync Challenge
The mystery singers are divided into two groups of three, and participate in a lip sync performance to one song each. At the conclusion of the performances, the contestant eliminates one performer from each group.
  2. Unlock My Life
The guest artist and contestant are presented with a video clue package in which one of the mystery singers discusses their life and musical qualifications. Good singers are telling the truth, while bad singers are allowed to lie to deceive them.
    • A Day in the Life — The guest artist and contestant are presented a video about their lives and what they do.
    • Super Fan — The guest artist and contestant are presented with a video package relating to a "superfan" of one of the remaining mystery singers of their choice.
    • Secret Snoop — The guest artist and contestant will have to check inside each of mystery singer's homes that have items that might be true or false.
  3. Interrogation
The contestant can converse and ask questions of one of the remaining two mystery singers, who speaks in their own unaltered voice. As before, good singers must answer truthfully, while bad singers may lie.
