Mandelkubb is a traditional Danish almond cookie characterized by a bittersweet flavor. Its distinct flavor is derived from the main ingredient, bitter almonds. The pastry is made with bitter almonds as the main ingredient, mixed with flour, sugar, eggs, butter, salt, and leavening agents. They are often garnished with nib sugar.[1] [2]
