Avesnes-lès-Bapaume (French pronunciation: ​[avɛn lɛ bapom], literally Avesnes near Bapaume) is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in northern France.

Geography[]

A small farming suburb (of Bapaume), located 11 miles (17 km) south of Arras at the junction of the D7 and D929 roads.
